Response times
- General editorial enquiries: within five working days.
- Corrections: acknowledged within two working days; the article is amended as soon as the point is verified.
- Pitches: within fifteen working days. If you have not heard from us by then, the pitch is free to place elsewhere.
- Data protection requests: within one month of receipt, as required by Article 12(3) of the GDPR, extendable by a further two months for complex requests, in which case we will tell you within the first month.
- Copyright notices: within two working days, and material is disabled promptly where the notice is complete and valid.

A note on what we cannot do
We are asked these things often, so it is fairer to say so here.
- We do not authenticate, attribute, value or appraise artworks, and we cannot tell you what an object is worth or whether it is genuine. For that you need a qualified expert, an auction house specialist department or, in Italy, the competent Soprintendenza.
- We do not put readers in touch with private collectors, dealers or artists’ estates.
- We do not arrange museum access, press accreditation or tickets on a reader’s behalf.
