Artevivo Magazine reaches readers who plan travel around exhibitions, buy books and prints, commission craftspeople, and work in and around the cultural sector. If that is your audience, we would like to hear from you.

Who reads us
Our audience is English-speaking and predominantly outside Italy, concentrated in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, the Netherlands and the Nordic countries, with a substantial minority of English-reading professionals in Italy itself. Readers arrive largely through search, looking for something specific: a fresco cycle they are about to see, a maker they have heard of, a museum they are about to visit.
Current traffic figures, section-by-section breakdowns and a media pack are sent on request. We publish figures we can substantiate and we do not inflate them.
What we sell
- Display advertising — a leaderboard above the fold, an in-article rectangle, and a sidebar unit. Sold by the month per section or site-wide, not by impression through an exchange.
- Section sponsorship — an exclusive presence across one of our six sections for a quarter, with a credit line on every article in that section.
- Newsletter placement, where a newsletter is running — a single unit per issue, above the fold.
- Sponsored features — a full-length article commissioned by you and produced to our standards, clearly labelled as a paid partnership.
Rates depend on section, duration and exclusivity. We work to a rate card rather than an auction, and we do not run programmatic advertising, real-time bidding or behavioural retargeting. Nothing on this site profiles readers for advertising purposes; see our Cookie Policy.
How sponsored content works
We are open to sponsored features, on terms that protect the reader.
- Every piece is labelled at the top, before the first line of text, as “Sponsored”, “Paid partnership with [name]” or “Advertisement feature”. The label is in the same size as the headline furniture and is never hidden below the fold or expressed only as a small icon.
- The label persists everywhere the piece appears, including in listings, in the newsletter and in social shares.
- Sponsored pieces are excluded from our editorial listings and from any “most read” or “editor’s picks” module.
- Outbound commercial links in sponsored pieces carry
rel="sponsored", as required by search engine guidelines. We do not sell links in editorial articles, we do not sell placement in existing articles, and we do not accept guest posts whose purpose is to place a link. Requests of that kind are declined without reply. - The piece is written to our standards. Claims must be substantiated, comparative claims must be fair, and we will not publish a factual claim we cannot verify, whoever is paying.
- You approve your own sponsored piece before it runs. You do not see, and cannot influence, anything else we publish.
These arrangements follow the Italian rules on the identification of advertising, including Legislative Decree No. 145/2007 on misleading advertising, the provisions of the Consumer Code on unfair commercial practices, and the self-regulatory code of the Istituto dell’Autodisciplina Pubblicitaria.
What we will not run
- Advertising for gambling, in line with the prohibition introduced by Italian Law No. 96/2018.
- Cryptocurrency, tokenised art, fractional-ownership schemes and any offer presented as an investment in art.
- Authentication, appraisal and “we will value your painting” services.
- Antiquities offered for sale, and any dealer whose stock includes unprovenanced archaeological material.
- Reproduction and print-on-demand services that misrepresent copies as originals.
- Adult content, weapons, tobacco, and products aimed at children.
- Anything that imitates our editorial furniture, uses our typography or logo, auto-plays sound, expands over content, or attempts to look like a system notification.
We reserve the right to decline any campaign, at any stage, without giving reasons, and to remove a live campaign that turns out to breach these rules. Where we do so mid-flight, the unused portion of the fee is refunded.
Technical specifications
Creative is supplied as static JPEG, PNG or SVG, or as an HTML5 unit under 150 kB. No third-party ad-serving tags that set cookies or fingerprint the reader, no video that plays automatically, no audio without a click, no more than one animation loop. Assets are hosted by us on our own domain, which is why the tag restriction exists: it is what allows us to promise readers that nothing on this site tracks them.
Bookings close ten working days before the start of a placement. Materials are due five working days before.
Commercial terms
Campaigns are invoiced by Artevivo Edizioni S.r.l., Via Giuseppe Ripamonti 44, 20141 Milano, VAT IT12874650961. Italian clients are invoiced with VAT at the applicable rate; clients established in another EU member state and holding a valid VAT identification number are invoiced under the reverse charge mechanism.
Cancellation more than 20 working days before the start date is free; between 20 and 10 working days, 50 per cent of the fee is payable; inside 10 working days, the full fee is payable.
